Ms. Peggy Winkler is a graduate of the BTU and reports in an interview about her studies and the start at B + K.
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER IN INTERVIEW
There are not many women who choose to study mechanical engineering, complete it successfully and have a child in the process. In an interview with BTU, Peggy Winkler reports what motivated her to choose her course of study and how she mastered the challenges. Her studies help her enormously in her current day-to-day work. You can realistically assess work processes, understand the way the technicians in the workshop think and are familiar with the planning effort behind them, reports Winkler.
At B + K, she mainly deals with construction tasks and creates drafts on the computer, but she is also outside at the system, doing tests, overseeing conversions or assembling the machine herself. “I acquired all the basics for this during my studies.”
